Who may not be a good fit for me:
I see adults of all ages and older teenagers (~16 and older) who can engage in individual therapy without their parents. I do not currently work with children, younger teens, or teens who do not want to engage in individual therapy.
I do not currently do Family Based Treatment (FBT). I am happy to make referrals to other providers who do FBT.
I do not currently do behavioral parent training or parent coaching.
Because I am virtual and see folks on an outpatient basis, I am not an appropriate level of care for individuals who are medically unstable or unable to engage in treatment safely. For example, I cannot see folks who are medically unstable due to eating disorders, substance use, or other concerns. I am also unable to see individuals with high intensity suicidal ideation or self-harm behaviors. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, feel free to reach out and ask. If we determine we are not a good fit, I will send you resources for other treatment options.
I cannot provide expert testimony in court, conduct evaluations for legal matters, or conduct legally-mandated treatment.
